local News_2The Marshall County Commissioners will meet (Monday, this) morning at 9:30 in their second-floor meeting room of the County Building.

On the agenda, Jason Peters, Highway Superintendent will report on activities and plans in his department and Sheriff Matt Hassel will seek approval to apply for a Marine Patrol Assistance Grant and a CHIRP grant.

Andrew Fitzpatrick from the Boys and Girls Club will update the commissioners on the club’s activities and County IT Director Mike Marshall will discuss the internet connections.

Also on the commissioner’s agenda is Coroner John Grolich who will present a contract for the negative air-pressure  at the new morgue and Doug Masterson will present quotes for the demolition of the West Jefferson Street property.

The commissioners will also hear from the County Attorney, County Auditor and the public.  Their meeting is open and comments and questions are always welcome.  The meetings are held in the meeting room on the second-floor of the County Building.
