Clay takes advantage of Lady Lions
BREMEN — South Bend Clay scattered 6 hits, took advantage of two lead-off walks, and four costly Lion errors to post a 5-2 win at Pfeiffer Field in Bremen on Tuesday.
Boone scored 3 times for the Colonials from the lead-off spot in the lineup.
The Lions had only 5 hits off Clay pitcher Hyduk, as she struck out 16 Lion hitters.
Hanna Depoy helped her own cause with a single in the 1st & then a 2-run HR in the 6th.
