Ronnie Wireman, Construction Observer Manager for DLZ notified the media late Tuesday on lane restrictions on U.S. 30 for this Thursday, April 15th.
Construction on US 30 is about to begin with patching, milling and paving. Work is to be completed between Union Road and east of Oak Drive. The work also includes bridge deck overlays that will be completed for twin bridge structures over the Yellow River on US 30 and the bridge deck overlay for the bridges on US 31 over US 30.
The contractor has requested lane restrictions on US 30 in the construction area. The restriction consists of a single lane closure necessary for coring the existing pavement. This will be completed as a moving operation and will include eastbound and westbound driving and passing lanes. The contractor anticipates completing all the necessary coring on April 15, 2021 between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
