Coronavirus Update 2021The Indiana Department of Health announced Monday that 908 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings the number of Indiana residents who have tested positive to 699,823.

Here in Marshall County we had 6 new cases bringing the county’s total of positive cases of the coronavirus to 5,724.  A total 24,668 test have been conducted in the county with 32 new tests since Sunday’s report.  There no new deaths reported and the county’s total remains at 108.  The 7-day positivity rate of all tests was 3.4$ while the 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals was 10.1%.

To date, 12,746 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19.

A total of 3,306,130 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana. A total of 9,242,439 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.

As of Monday, a total of 3,403,950 doses of vaccine have been administered in Indiana. This includes 1,993,880 first doses and 1,410,070 individuals who are fully vaccinated.
