State Senator Stacey Donato issued a statement regarding Easter. This Sunday, April 4th , Christians across the world will celebrate Easter.
“Jesus called out with a loud voice, ‘Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.’ When he had said this, he breathed his last. The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, ‘Surely this was a righteous man.”

As we prepare to celebrate the most important day on the Christian calendar, Easter Sunday, let us acknowledge the hope we’ve been given through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and remember the challenges we have overcome in the past year.
