corona virus updateThe Indiana Department of Health announced Friday that 1,136 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 682,099 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

The Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard & Map shows Marshall County reporting 6 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 with 16 new individuals being tested. Marshall County continues to remain with 106 Covid-19 related deaths with no new additional deaths since Thursday. The 7- Day Positivity for All Tests scored 2.5% with the 7- Day Positivity for the Unique Individual scoring 9.4%.

To date, 12,596 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 20 from the previous day. Another 406 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

A total of 3,227,019 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,224,904 on Thursday. A total of 8,730,919 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
