corona virus updateThe Indiana Department of Health announced Tuesday that 568 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 673,528 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

The Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard and Map showed Marshall County reporting 6 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the total to 5515 with 24 new individuals being tested. There were no new Covid-19 related deaths reported as Marshall County stays at 106. The 7-Day Positivity for All Tests score 2.2 % with the 7-Day Positivity for Unique Individual scoring 11.4%.

A total of 12,466 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 12 from the previous day. Another 410 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

To date, 3,188,106 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,185,150 on Monday. A total of 8,483,858 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
