Covid 19 update_1The Indiana Department of Health announced Friday that 973 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 671,023 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

The Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard & Map shows Marshall County 11 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the total to 5493 since March 2020. There were 32 new individuals tested for Covid-19 with no additional deaths added to Thursday count of 106. The 7-Day positivity for All Tests scored 1.7% with the 7-day positivity of the Unique Individual scoring 11.4%.

A total of 12,409 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 28 from the previous day. Another 415 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

To date, 3,172,282 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,166,538 on Thursday. A total of 8,391,163 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
