mug_timothy craftOn Sunday, March 7th at 6:59 P.M. Officer Tice with the Bremen Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of US 6 and Dogwood Road on 38 year old Timothy Ward Craft of Nappanee.

During the traffic stop Mr. Craft was taken into custody on the charges of Operating While Intoxicated with a BAC of .15 or More, Possession of a Hand Gun without a License and Possession of a Syringe.

He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,505 bond. Craft was released the next day after posting bond and received a Marshall County Superior II court date of March 16th at 8:30 A.M.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
