On Saturday, March 6th at 12:50 P.M. Officer Derifield with the Plymouth Police Department responded to a 911 call at a residence located at 446 Charles Street in Plymouth.
In Officer Derifield new release it stated that 32 year old Kevin Walters who resided at the residence that the 911 call originated from was taken into custody.
Mr. Walters was transported and booked into the Marshall County Jail and held on the charges of Domestic Battery with Bodily Injury to a Pregnant Family or Member and Strangulation with bond set at $1,505.
He was released the following day after posting bond and received a Marshall County Superior I Court date of March 16th at 8:30 A.M.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
