ArrestedOn Monday, March 1st at approximately 3:15 in the afternoon Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Holiday Inn parking lot.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 22-year-old Rosel Gonzalez of Bremen.   He was arrested for driving while never receiving a license and possession of a false government identification.  Gonzalez was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $750 cash bond.   A few hours later he was released after his bond was paid.  Gonzalez will appear in Marshall Superior Court II on April 6th.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
