Covid 19 update_1The Indiana Department of Health announced Wednesday that 1,019 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 658,043 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

The Indiana Covid-19 Dashboard & Map shows Marshall County reporting 6 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the total to 5397 since March with 36 new individuals being tested for Covid-19. There were no new Covid-19 related deaths reported as Marshall County continues to stay at 104. The 7-Day Positivity for All Tests scored 1.4 % with the 7-Day Positivity for Unique Individuals scoring 8.9%.

A total of 12,039 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 14 from the previous day. Another 428 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

To date, 3,093,689 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,088,729 on Tuesday. A total of 7,856,992 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
