500 NORTH MICHIGAN _1The property is part of Plymouth’s Stellar project with the creation of a pocket park named Crossroads Plaza.  The park will recognize the five historic highways that cross through Marshall County.

The park will offer a place to enjoy a picnic or eat a quick lunch. Master Gardeners in the county are willing to assist with plantings and caring for the garden areas.

CROSSROADS PLAZAMayor Senter said the project came in at the end of the Stellar application process and he believes it is what put the county’s application over the top.

The city pledged $160,00 for the Stellar Communities project so the $6,785 needed for the appraisal of the property is considered part of the city’s share along with the purchase of the property.
