Covid 19 update_1The Indiana Department of Health announced Monday that 824 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 656,358 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

Marshall County reported 4 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the numbers to 5384 to date. There were 22 new individuals tested for Covid-19 bringing the count to 29,229 to date. There were zero new deaths reported as Marshall County stays at 104. The 7- Day Positivity for All Tests scored 2.2% with the 7-Day Positivity for the Unique Individual scored 9.9%.

A total of 11,982 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 35 from the previous day. Another 425 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

To date, 3,085,554 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,083,893 on Sunday. A total of 7,794,765 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
