On Sunday, February 21st shortly before 9:00 P.M. the Marshall County Dispatch received a 911 call from the 5200 block of Redwood Road for an unknown problem.
As Deputy Ayala with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrived he located 33 year old Richard Michael Morris of Plymouth.
During the investigation Morris was found to have an active warrant through Marshall County and was also found to be in Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine with Enhancing circumstance (level 4 felony), Invasion of Privacy and the active warrant for Criminal Mischief.
Morris was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $6,005.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
