Thursday Evening shortly after 4:00 P.M. Officer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 12,000 block of Plymouth Goshen Trail on a vehicle driven by 27 year old Darrin Pellot Tullos of Etna Green. During the investigation of the traffic stop, Tullos was found to be Driving While Suspended and was wanted on two active warrants out of Whitley County and Porter County. Mr. Tullos was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $505 bond for Driving While Suspended and held without bond for Whitley and Porter County.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
