Covid 19 update_1The Indiana Department of Health announced Thursday that 1,762 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 645,006 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

Marshall County reported 13 new individuals tested positive for Covid-19 bringing the total to 5325. The Indiana Department of Health Dashboard showed Marshall County with 2 additional deaths bringing the total to 103. There were 47 new individuals tested for Covid-19. The 7-Day Positivity for All Tests scored 4.7% with the 7-Day Positivity of Unique Individuals scored 14.1%

A total of 11,604 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 26 from the previous day. Another 423 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

To date, 3,029,943 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,021,613 on Wednesday. A total of 7,425,081 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
