Lady Chargers win second straight
PLYMOUTH — Ancilla College recovered from a 11-0 start by the Lady Pilots and turned on the jets in the second half to beat the Bethel University JV 70-48 Tuesday night in a non-conference contest.
Bethel had beaten Ancilla two weeks earlier in over in Mishawaka.
Tonia Horston-Smith led the Lady Chargers (2-1) with 21 points. Alaya Chapman and Destiny Allen each recorded double-double for the night. Chapman scored 16 and grabbed 12 rebounds, with Allen adding 13 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.
Ancilla hosts Kankakee Community College at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Morton College at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
