Travel advisoryAfter consultation between the Marshall County Highway Superintendent, the Marshall County Emergency Management Director, and the Marshall County Commissioner’s it has been determined that current road conditions require the implementation of a “Watch” level travel advisory for the unincorporated roads in the county. A “Watch” level travel advisory means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public.

During a “Watch” level travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work is recommended. Emergency action plans should be implemented by schools, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations.

The Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect until 10 am on Friday morning. Snow and blowing snow is expected with gusts as high as 40 mph, which will cause drifting issues. Reduced visibility is also a concern.
