Sunday evening at 8:40 P.M. multiple units responded to a call of an accident with ejection on US 30 near Plymouth – Goshen Trail.
As Office Tempelman with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrived to the scene the driver of the Chevrolet Avalanche identified as Stetson Hellyer of LaPorte Indiana stated that he swerved to avoid a vehicle.
According to the press release Mr. Hellyer swerved to the left leaving the roadway and into the median rolling an unknown amount of times ejecting the passenger from the vehicle and coming to rest partially in the eastbound lane of US 30.
The passenger of the vehicle identified as Rhiley Hellyer was transported to the hospital by helicopter for road rash to her entire body and shoulder injury.
