mug_cesar quintana jiminezOn Monday, January 25th shortly after 10:00 P.M. Marshall County Dispatched received a report of a vehicle that had run off the road in the area of Michigan Road and 1st Road in Lapaz.
Deputy Ayala with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department located the driver of the vehicle who was identified as 26 year old Cesar Quintana Jimenez of Plymouth.
During a brief investigation Jimenez was found to be intoxicated with results of a chemical test indicating that he was almost three times the legal limit.
Mr. Jimenez was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated with a BAC of .15% or higher with bond set at $1,505.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
