Members of the Marshall County Council will gather for their first meeting of the new year Monday morning at 9 a.m. Newly elected members Tim Harmon and Jesse Bohannon will be welcomed, and the council will reorganize. They will also review liaison assignments and appointments.
The County Council is expected to approve the Sheriff’s contract for 2021 and Commissioner Kevin Overmyer will present a resolution pertaining to the extension of Emergency Paid Sick Leave.
County Council members will consider additional appropriation and transfer requests and consider an amendment to the 2021 Salary Ordinance for the Sheriff’s Department.
The County Council meeting is open to the public. They meet in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building. Masks and social distancing are mandated.
