PLYMOUTH – In their second tournament in three days, the Plymouth girls JV basketball team fell just short of their second championship being edged by Penn 32-29.
The Lady Pilgrims held Penn to just four points in the third quarter and outscored the Kingsmen in the second half but couldn’t make up for a rough first quarter.
Emma Winkle had 10 and Emma Krupp had nine to pace Plymouth. Halle Hopple had seven rebounds.
Plymouth advanced with a 53-46 first game win over Goshen.
Emma Krupp poured in 20 points for Plymouth, Emma Winkle had seven rebounds and three assists.
