TrinityUnitedMethodistChristmas will be different for many people in 2020. The same is true for churches. Plymouth Trinity United Methodist Church at 425 South Michigan Street usually has two well-attended services on Christmas Eve. This year, however, Trinity is planning a drive-through Christmas Eve experience for the community.

The Christmas Eve service will be on Thursday, December 24 from 4:30-5:00 PM. The Trinity Church choir will be performing many of the traditional Christmas carols on the William St. steps outside the church. There will also be a small live nativity scene and an opportunity to donate food for the Neighborhood Center. Communion will also be available.  “We want to emphasize this is a drive-through experience so everyone can enjoy the music safely,” stated Sandy Burroughs Trinity Music Director.

The church sanctuary will also be open Christmas Eve for prayer, meditation, Communion, and/or Christmas photos. A reservation must be made. Please contact the church (574)936-2519 during office hours this Monday – Wednesday to schedule a time. Plymouth Trinity will also have a special virtual Christmas Eve service available on Plymouth Trinity UMC’s website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
