mug_shot david rotzienOn Saturday, December 19th at 8:02 P.M. Deputy Bragg with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of US 31 and 16th Road.

The vehicle failed to pull to the right of the roadway and accelerated and a vehicle pursuit was initiated.

The suspected vehicle fled into Fulton County and was eventually stopped with the assistance of Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and the Rochester Police Department.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 47 year old David Daniel Rotzien III of Rochester.

Rotzien was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated-Endangerment, Operating While Intoxicated and Resisting Law Enforcement with bond set at $1,505.
