City newsThe City of Plymouth will meet Monday evening with the Board of Public Works and Safety starting at 6 p.m. and the Common Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear from various department heads, consider the 2021 agreement for Animal Control with the Marshall County Humane Society and approval of claims.

The Common Council meeting will include a public hearing for additional appropriations, the 2021 agreement for Planning Services with Ralph Booker, the 2021 Transportation Services with Older Adults and the certification of compliance with nepotism and contracting policies.

The City Attorney will present Executive Order 2020-26 for Fire Department Operations due to the coronavirus and the resolution for the additional appropriations.

Under Other Business is the discussion of a proposed ordinance to prohibit the parking in front yards, and update on the Council Chambers live-stream and an update on Stellar Communities.

The city meetings are held in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall.  Participants are required to wear a mask and social distance during the meeting.  Entry is through the Garro Street door.
