Friday evening three candidates will face-off to fill the vacancy on the County Council that was vacated December 1st when Judith Stone submitted her resignation to Republican Chairman David Holmes.
Steve Harper, Kip Cook and Adam Faulstich have all filled their Declaration of Candidacy by the deadline.
Five precinct committeemen will hear the candidates speak at 5 p.m. Friday night at Republic Headquarters, 117 Water Street in Plymouth. Following the speeches, the precinct committeemen will adjourn to vote for the candidate of their choice.
The winner will finish out Stone’s term on the County Council which ends on December 31st, 2022.
