credit card fraudOn Sunday, December 6th at 4:50 P.M. Officer DeLee with the Plymouth Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Holloway Drive in reference to meeting with a card owner who had unauthorized transactions on his account.

Arriving to the business it was reported that the credit card had went missing and unauthorized transactions had taken place on the card.

An investigation at the business where the incident took place resulted in the user of the card to be identified as 54 year old Samuel T. Ford of Plymouth.

Ford was located and taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charge of Credit Card Fraud with bond set at $1,505.

 

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
