Riverside splits tourney titles
PLYMOUTH – The fifth grade Riverside Rockets boys basketball team hosted a tourney on Saturday.
In the “A” tourney, the Rockets won their first game vs. Knox 25-20 but dropped the second to Triton 43-24.
Defensive MVP’s for the tourney were Brody Lebo and Adan Mecias.
In the “B” tourney, the Rockets defeated Knox in the first game 28-4, and went on to win the championship vs. Triton 21-10.
Defensive MVP’s for the tourney were Mason Tillman and Benson Prater.
Both teams will host North Liberty on Tuesday.
