Podlin smashes two school records in Bremen win
BREMEN – Bremen’s girls swimmers defeated Marian 116 to 41.
The Lions won the three relays: 200 Medley (2:12.81); 200 Free (2:16.07); and 400 Free (4:21.61).
Notable individuals were freshmen Kaia Podlin, Sarah Stine, Audrey Sands, and Sylvia Meyer; and seniors Lauren Miller and Keely Miller.
Kaia Podlin broke the 200 IM school and pool records with a 2:10.67; and the 100 breast school record with a 1:07.02.
Lauren Miller (28.89), Sylvia Meyer (30.04), and Sarah Stine (33.47) swept the 50 Freestyle.
Audrey Sands (1:02.73), Lauren Miller (1:06.03), and Meyer (1:09.23) swept the 100 Freestyle.
Sands (2:17.94) and Keely Miller (2:29.54) placed 1st and 2nd in the 200 Free.
