Wild Turkey Thanksgiving run 2020Looking forward to that Thanksgiving fest but worried about gaining weight?  Join the Wild Turkey 5K or Cold Turkey 2.5K runs on Thanksgiving morning at the Pretty Lake Golf Club.

The Wild Turkey 5K Course features a mix of pavement, grass, muddy trails and hills that only wild turkeys love. This course will enable you to eat two pieces of pie for desert later in the day.

The Cold Turkey 2.5K & 5K Course also features a mix of pavement and grass with a more moderate terrain designed for well, folks who might take on the event “cold turkey”. The course is a 2.5K loop, approximately 1.5 miles, so if 1.5 miles is better with you… you will be back where you started and can call it a day or take on the second loop completing the 5K distance it’s up to you.

All are welcome including your pets, it is sure to be a fun event and very family friendly on a day when we celebrate with our families.

The pandemic has separated us, hope you can join in an event to promote health while supporting an organization that has seen a significant increase in demand for services due to COVID-19.
