County BuildingThe Marshall County Council meets at 9 a.m. Monday morning in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Those attending the meeting should wear a face mask and social distance while at the meeting.

Agenda for the County Council include a request by County Clerk Deb VanDeMark to apply for a CARES Act grant through the Secretary Of State Election Division and Jim Bendy from Probation will request a waiver of probationary pay for an employee.  Council members will also heard a grant request from Ward Byers for Community Corrections.

Linda Rippy from the Marshall County Museum will give her quarterly report and Jason Peters from the County Highway will request funding for another small Community Crossings grant.  Commissioner Kevin Overmyer will discuss purchasing the Hite Law Offices south of the Court House and council members will consider additional appropriation requests and transfers.

The County Auditor Julie Fox will give her report and council members are expected to approve the Green Township Budget and approve an ordinance creating new county funds.

The County Council meeting is open to the public.
