Triton_UglySweather2017_1The third annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Auction to benefit the Marshall County Neighborhood Center will be held on Thursday, November 5th.  Due to COVID-19 the fundraiser will be held outside at River Park Square beginning at 6 p.m.

The auction begins at 6:30 with dozens of ugly sweaters, vests, ties, sweatshirts and maybe a dress, pajamas and hats.   Some of the items are new while others are slightly used.  There will be ugly Christmas of all shapes and sizes and the funds raised will help fund the Christmas program at the Neighborhood Center.

Along with the ugly sweaters will be beautifully wrapped boxes with items that range from $1 up to $50.  The Neighborhood Center will be asking for $20 per box.  The $20 represents the average cost of a food basket given by the center.

Doug Gehrke will serve as master-of-ceremony for the event and they will accept cash, checks or credit cards for the auction items and boxes.

Bob’s Cafateria will be on site selling chili and corn dogs and The Coffee Lodge will have a variety of warm drinks to purchase.
