Last week Plymouth Building Inspector, Keith Hammonds told members of the Board of Public Works and Safety he is moving forward with the demolition order for 412 West Garro Street.
The property’s deeded owner is listed as Larry Arroyo on the county’s GIS.
The building had been determined to be unsafe and the city gave the property owners time to make repairs. No action was taken so the city is going to seek bids to have the building torn down and then place a lien on the property for that cost.
The City Attorney will be writing the specifications for the demolition and it’s anticipated the Board of Works will receive bids later this month or early in November.
