Bremen clinches share of title
SOUTH BEND – Hunter Bennitt scored three touchdowns to lead the Bremen Lions past Clay in the final regular-season game by a 55-0 final.
Bennitt had a receiving touchdown, returned an interception for a TD, and returned a punt for another score.
Ethan Nunemaker threw for 126 yards and two scores. Blake Dingus carried the ball 14 times for 111 yards and 2 TDs.
Grant Kauffman, Cody Czarnecki, and Ashton Shively had rushing touchdowns for the Lions.
Bremen’s defense allowed 56 total yards and forced three turnovers.
Bremen travels to face Rochester in the first round of the Sectional tournament next Friday.
