Marshall County Crossroads Stellar logo 2020Marshall County, in conjunction with the Marshall County Crossroads organization, will be launching an Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Project, the first of next year.

This project will provide grant assistance to low-to-moderate income homeowners within Marshall County. For those that receive assistance, the funds will be used to make necessary repairs to their homes. Repairs include, but are not limited to; furnace replacements, electrical and plumbing upgrades, and roof re-shingling.

The County is in the process of accepting applications from qualified Marshall County homeowners. Applications will be accepted October 21st thru October 24th at various locations within the County. It should be noted that not all request will be granted, due to funding limitations.

To find out more about the program and obtain an application packet, please visit the County’s website at www.co.marshall.in.us and follow the helpful links tab or pick up an application packet at any of the Clerk-Treasurer’s offices within the County; including Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, Culver, La Paz and Plymouth.

For additional questions, contact the project coordinator, Shannon McLeod, at (812) 663 – 7385 or email her at shannon@pprgrant.com .

This project is made possible thanks to funding set aside by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, through the County’s 2019 Stellar designation, and the hard work of those affiliated with the Marshall County Crossroads organization.
