Goodwill Retail TrainingTuesday evening the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals considered the variance request of Plymouth Center Limited Partnership.  Plymouth Center Limited is the owner of the strip mall along US 30.

Their request was for a variance of lot width and will also include a request to replat three front lots between Arby’s and Rue 21.

The variance sought on Tuesday evening is necessary because one of the remaining lots will only be 110 feet wide instead of the required 150 feet.  It was noted that the lot was previously only 70 feet wide.

There were no comments from the public during the hearing although City Attorney Sean Surrisi did say the project was in preparation for the construction of a new retail establishment.  He went on to say plans are to build a Goodwill store with an educational training center.

The Plymouth BZA approved the variance request for the reduced lot size.

Next month the Plymouth Plan Commission will consider the request for the replat of the three lots at their meeting.
