On Saturday, October 3rd at 11:52 P.M. Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a green 1997 Dodge pickup truck in the area of 12B Road and King Road. The driver of the vehicle identified as 31 year old Johnathan Nifong of Argos. During the course of the traffic stop it was found that Mr. Nifong was Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Driver`s License with a Prior charge. During the investigation Nifong was found to have methamphetamine paraphernalia on his person along with marijuana and methamphetamine in the vehicle and was taken into custody. Nifong was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended with a Prior and Resisting Law Enforcement with bond set at $1,505.
