On Saturday, September 19th at approximately 6:50 A.M. Marshall County Deputy Bennett was traveling eastbound on US 30 at Tulip Road when a female subject ran out in front of the deputy`s patrol vehicle nearly causing an accident. The female identified as 23 year old Tiarra Ochoa of Hamlet. Ochoa was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic and taken into custody. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on the charge of Public Intoxication with bond set at $255.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
