The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 331 between Tyler Rd and Old Indiana 331/U.S. 20 beginning Wednesday, September 23.
The road will be closed while NIPSCO removes casing from the gas transmission under the road. State Road 331 is expected to reopen in mid-October, 2020.
Drivers should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow U.S. 20, U.S. 31, U.S. 30, State Road 331 and U.S. 6.
