The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for U.S. 31 between U.S. 30 and Plymouth Goshen Trail beginning Monday, September 14.
U.S. 31 will be reduced to one lane in each direction to paint the bridge over the Yellow River. Lane closures will alternate so drivers should be prepared for changing traffic patterns in this area. The project is expected to be completed in mid-November, 2020.
Painting is one of many preservation techniques utilized by INDOT to extend the life of bridge structures.
