underage-drinkingOn Sunday, September 6th at approximately 2:30 in the morning a deputy from the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department responded to a property damage accident at Jellystone Campground.

Arriving on the scene the deputy made contact with the driver of the vehicle, identified as 18 year old Alexis Schapiro of Lake Station.   Schapiro was found to be under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to the Plymouth Hospital for a chemical test that showed her to be over twice the legal limit of alcohol.

MugShot_alexis schapiroAlexis Schapiro was booked into the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more, and illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.  Her cash bond was set at $1,500.  She bonded out about 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
