Culver-Union Township Public Library (CUTPL) is pleased host two traveling exhibits from Sculptureworks.
When you enter the library’s lower level off Main Street, you can’t miss the “Windswept” eagle by sculptor Pati, an elected member of the Academic Art Association, Allied Artists of America, National Sculpture Society, and the Society of Animal Artists. The bronze golden eagle sculpture stands 85 inches tall and is 55 inches wide.
A second sculpture, “The Critic” by Rosetta, is located in the upper level at CUTPL. This animal sculpture, a monkey tearing pages out of a book, is also called “Don’t Leave Your Paperback On The Veranda”. Rosetta, a National Sculpture Society Fellow, holds memberships in Society of Animal Artists, American Women Artists, and Northwest Rendezvous Group. Rosetta works directly in clay without preliminary drawings and believes her work is interpretive realism.
The Culver Union Township Public Library is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm, until 8 pm on Tuesdays, and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. Brochures with exhibit photos are available inside the library. More information about Sculptureworks can be found at www.gobronze.com.
