Lady Pilgrims spike to win
MENTONE – The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims took a 25-9, 25-18, 25-13 win on the road at Tippecanoe Valley.
The match started out strong for the Lady Pilgrims taking the first set 25-9 behind strong play from the outside hitters, Miranda German and Maddy Figg.
The second set was more a battle with Valley taking a lead at 16-17 but Plymouth rallied after that with great serves from Taylor Delp and attacks through the middle and opposite from Chloe Holten and Sara Hunter.
The Lady Pilgrims came on strong in the third set to put the match away winning it 25-13.
