On Wednesday, August 19th at approximately 12:29 A.M. the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department received a 911 call in regards to a personal injury crash involving a vehicle into a utility pole on 4th Road east of Tamarack Road.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Brown identified the driver as 22 year old, Megan Wagner of South Bend was traveling east on 4th Road east of Tamarack Road and for unknown reasons her vehicle left the north side of the roadway and struck a utility pole head on.
Wagner was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash and was later transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Alcohol may be a factor in this crash.
Marshall County Sheriff`s Department was assisted on scene by Walkerton EMS, Polk Fire, Marshall County REMC and Reichert and Knepp Wrecker Service.
