DUIOn Tuesday, July 7th at 3:43 P.M. a complaint was called in,in regards to a possible impaired driver. Deputy Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department  conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of Michigan Road and US 31 with the driver being identified as 43 year old, Anthony Wayne Meadors of Culver. During the stop, Meadors was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated-Endangering a Person with bond being set at $1,505.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
