Jack Jordan state RepState Representative Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they served as pages during the 2020 legislative session:

  • Carley Hott, from Kewanna, attends Rochester Community High School;
  • Matthew Houin, from Bremen, attends Bremen Middle School;
  • Luke Kincaid, from Bremen, attends Bremen Middle School; and
  • Adrian Schouten, from Rochester, attends Culver Community High School.

Through the Indiana House Page Program, these students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined Jordan on the House floor to witness the legislative process.

“The page program affords Hoosier students a unique, hands-on experience at the Statehouse,” Jordan said. “They are the next generation of leaders, and it is encouraging to see students from our community becoming civically engaged.”

Jordan said that while this year’s page program has concluded, students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
