Marshall County Sheriff Matthew Hassel announced Friday that the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will be providing firearms safety courses on Thursday December 5th. Courses will start at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. The courses are being provided by Certified Instructors from the Sheriff’s Department. Those attending the courses will be instructed on several topics including safety concerns, weapon storage, weapon maintenance, carry concerns, legal information and multiple other topics. This course is free of charge and is being offered to the public.
Anyone interested in attending one of these courses is asked to contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Records Division at (574) 936-0236 by November 30th, 2019 to get registered for one of the courses. Please leave your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER and which time you will be attending with the Records Clerk or on their voicemail. After the registration deadline has passed, Sheriff’s Department personnel will contact those registered with more information.
