Lady Chargers fall at home

PLYMOUTH — Ancilla’s Lady Chargers dropped their home opener Wednesday night when they lost to Kankakee Community College by a 64-57 count.
The Lady chargers (1-1) owned the first half, but the Crimson (2-0) took the lead in the third quarter and never gave it up.
Talia Bee led Ancilla with 20 points and nine rebounds, with Emily Richard adding 17 points and eight caroms. Jaela Meister, who concluded her volleyball season just a week ago, grabbed eight rebounds off the bench.
The Lady Chargers get a week off before they host Triton College on Nov. 14.
