City NEwsThe Plymouth Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Wednesday evening in the council chamber of City Hall.  The meeting was moved from Tuesday evening due to the municipal elections.

The Plan Commission meets at 7 p.m. and has two cases to hear.  The Plymouth Knights of Columbus Club at 901 Columbus Drive is requesting a replat lot 17 and Miami Farms, Inc/Carl and Tanya Stockberger are seeking a secondary plan review of the PDU for the Centennial Crossings residential development on the north side of Plymouth Goshen Trail.  The development will consist of single and multifamily housing units.

The Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals meets at 7:30 and also has two cases to consider.  Jamie Fonsecca is requesting a Variance of Use to relocate his Tattoo shop that was in the 200 block of North Michigan to 100 South Michigan Street, the former Retro Girl Shop. The variance is because the tattoo shop would be located in a downtown commercial district.

The second case is a Variance of Use to have a yarn and textile shop with a retail gift shop at 825 North Center Street, the former site of Helvey & Associated Collection Agency.  The variance is because the store would be located in a traditional residential area.

Both meetings are open to the public and comments and questions are welcome. Participants must enter City Hall using the Garro Street door.
